Connecting an Outlook Calendar to Your Group

Overview

This article details how group admins can sync your group-wide Outlook calendar to ReachWell in order to share with contacts and families.
Don't use Outlook Calendars? Learn how to connect a Google Classroom Calendar or Schoology Calendar or Google Calendar.

Instructions

  1. Make sure you have a family-facing calendar in Outlook by clicking New calendar from Outlook.
           
  1. You and other collaborators should add any events to this calendar 
  2. Navigate to your ReachWell Dashboard > Organizations > Groups page.
  3. Select Update Under the Calendar column


  1. Scroll down to Calendars.
         

  1. Check the Outlook Calendar box (if it's already connected, select Change Outlook Account).
  2. A pop-up window will appear instructing you to sign in with your Outlook credentials.
  3. After signing in, you will be redirected to the ReachWell Dashboard.  Using the drop down arrow select the calendar you would like to share.
        
  1. Select Submit.

Troubleshooting Missing Events

If a calendar event is not showing in ReachWell from a synced calendar, there are typically two reasons why this would occur
  1. The calendar that is synced to ReachWell is not being shared publicly. Visit THIS article for Outlook instructions.
  2. Or, the event was added to your personal calendar rather than the calendar synced to ReachWell.
