First Class Plan: Creating & Managing Contacts with a CSV Upload

Overview

There are several plan packages available for ReachWell clients. For organizations utilizing our First Class plan, contacts can be synced to ReachWell via a Clever sync, or by uploading a CSV file. This article details the process for uploading a CSV file of contacts to ReachWell.

Instructions

  1. Download this XLS template to your desktop for modification purposes.
  2. Watch this 3-minute tutorial for help with formatting your contact import file.
          
  1. Add your contact and family details to the template:
    1. First and last name is required.
    2. A unique phone number is required for all contacts. An error will occur if:
      1. If you do not have a phone number for a contact, since the system will be unable to import them.
      2. If two contacts have the same phone number.
    3. If you do not enter a language in the Language field, the contacts' languages will default to English.
    4. To associate contact(s) with specific groups, locate the group ID(s) from the App Setup > Groups page. The first column displays the group ID for each group. To assign a contact to multiple groups, add the group IDs in the Group Org ID = Group Number column each separated by a semicolon.
    5. Get the import template by clicker here  or login to your  Dashboard  and click People > Contacts > Add New Contact > Click Import Contacts (at the top of the page)
Please note: Once the file is imported, each contact with a phone number will have a ReachWell verification code automatically assigned to them! This code is viewable from their contact profile in the People > Contacts page.
