Sending a Recorded Voice Message

Overview

Sending a recorded voice call to all families is a great way to inform families of urgent events, like school closures or lockdowns.

Instructions

  1. From the Send a Message page on your Dashboard, deselect App Notification and click Urgent Only - Recorded Voice Call
  2. Chose your message Recipients by selecting your School/Org. The message will go out to all contacts of the School/Org.
  3. Attach your recorded .mp3 file.
    1. We recommend using this site to record an .mp3 file.
  4. Click Send 


Idea
Please note: Phone calls are not the most recommended method to deliver most messages. Families have given feedback that they prefer app communication for broadcast messages. However, in cases of emergencies, we recommend supplementing an app notification with a recorded call.
