How can a contact turn off their notification preferences?

Overview

Contacts (i.e. families) have the ability to manage what types of notifications they would like to receive from ReachWell. This article details the process to update their notification preferences.

Instructions

From the ReachWell app, contacts will:

  1. Click on the profile icon to the top right of the screen.
           
  1. Toggle on or off any of the notification settings. For First Class clients, we recommend contacts at least keep the Text Message and Voice Message notifications on to receive emergency alerts from your school or organization.
           

Troubleshooting

Here are some troubleshooting steps to try if contacts are having issues receiving push notifications:
  1. Ensure they are using a compatible device:
    1. iOS devices version 9.0 or higher
    2. Android devices version 5.0 or higher
  2. Confirm they have connectivity on their device via a cellular or WiFi network (without filters).
  3. Review the steps in the previous section to ensure their device is set up correctly.
  4. Make sure they are using the latest version of the ReachWell app rather than updating, deleting and reinstalling the app. Visit http://rwell.us/ to download the most recent version.
