Overview
This article reviews how to promote the ReachWell app any time you have a one-to-one conversation in-person or via phone call with a family contact.
Detailed Instructions (Main Office Staff & Leadership)
Use the script below to incentivize families to get on the app and verify. This script is more detailed, giving families a step-by-step guide on downloading and verifying. Main office staff, leadership, and anyone with high involvement with ReachWell should feel comfortable with the script.
Ask: Are you on the ReachWell app?
If they respond with yes:
- That's great! We'll be sending regular communication to you. Make sure you have notifications turned on so that you know when we send out a new message and enter your code so that you can chat privately with our staff and join your classroom groups to get messages from teachers.
If they respond with no:
- We'll be sending regular communication to you through the app this year. Do you have a moment for me to help you download the app?
- Navigate to your mobile device app store.
- Search for "ReachWell" to download the app.
- Once you’ve installed the app, accept push notifications. That way, you know when we send a new message.
- Select the I have a code! option and enter your personal verification code that we sent via text message. If you don't have your code, tap Request Code to receive your code via text again.
- Tap the English option on the bottom left of the app screen to select your preferred language. Once selected, all messages, chats and your school's news feed will be translated into your selected language!
- You're now all set!
